"Mujer" fue un Exito!

Hubo mas de 100 participantes. Mas de 10 mujeres nos comentaron personalmente que este fue el evento con mas enfoque que hayan atendido. Y muchas mas dijeron que se sintieron muy especiales como mujeres y se sintieron valoradas. Fueron animadas a alcanzar sus metas y a buscar el éxito. 


Las panelistas, quienes compartieron sus historias de éxito, pudieron identificarse bien con la audiencia. Cuando les pedimos que compartieran sus retos mas difíciles, una comento, "Tuve que dejar a mi hijo por 4 años. El dolor de la separación fue tan intenso." Otra dijo, "Tuve que pelear por mi hijo en una corte extranjera sin la ayuda de abogado." Otra dijo, "Como una madre soltera joven, tuve que criar a mis hijos sola." Estas historias ayudaron a conectar a las mujeres de la audiencia con luchas verdaderas que ellas también comparten.


Al final del evento las risas llegaron con la rifa. Hubo mas de 20 regalos entregados, tales como certificados de regalos, anteojos de alta calidad, y hermosos lienzos pintados. Cuando les preguntamos que si volverían al evento en la primavera, todo el cuarto grito a una sola voz ¡Si! "Mujer" was a Success!

Over 100 in total attendance. More than 10 women said this was the best, most focused event they'd ever been to. So many others literally said that they felt very special as a woman and felt valued and were encouraged to reach their goals and try hard to succeed. 




The panelists who shared their success stories were able to identify with the ladies. When asked to share their hardest challenges, one of them said, "I had to leave my son for 4 years. The pain of the separation was so intense." Another said, "I had to stand up and fight in a foreign court for my children with no lawyer's help." Another said, "As a young, single mom I had to raise my son alone." These stories helped connect the ladies in the audience with real struggles they themselves have.



At the end of the event, the raffle brougth levity and laughter. There were over 20 prizes, such as gift certificates, high-end eye glasses, and beautiful paintings. When asked if they would return to our next event in the spring, the room erupted into cheers! De qué se trata

Muchas mujeres en las comunidades de inmigrantes han sido relegadas a funcionar solo como amas de casa. ¡Sin embargo, esto no significa que no tienen otros talentos! Sabemos que muchos inmigrantes naturalmente contribuyen en sus comunidades pero cuando están en una sociedad extranjera y diferente les pueden faltar habilidades  y conocimiento para mostrar que tan valiosos son. 

Por medio de este evento, estamos trabajando para capacitar a mujeres inmigrantes en su papel como madre, mujer de negocio, ama de casa y también como la inspiración de futuros líderes de nuestra comunidad.  Creemos que con la orientación correcta, las mujeres pueden encontrar el éxito en sus familias, como individuos, y en su carrera!

Cada Mujer Tiene un Valor Inmenso!

Con las herramientas apropiadas, muchas mujeres podrán recibir las llaves para ser una mujer de éxito con mucho valor para ofrecer.

What is it all about

Many women in immigrant communities have been relegated to backstage in their families and jobs. However, this does not suggest they have nothing to offer! We know that many immigrants naturally contribute to their communities, but in a foreign society, they may lack the knowledge and skills to show how valuable they really are.   We believe with the right guidance, women can find success in their families, as individuals, and in their field!

Through this event, we are working to build capacity among Immigrant women in their role as businesswomen, as mother, as homemaker, and as the inspiration of future leaders in our community. 

Every Woman Has Immense Value!

We believe that, given the right tools, many women will be able find keys to being a successful woman who has something very valuable to offer.
